About Aisle & Time
Aisle & Time is the wedding day planning system George Stoff built and refined over 15 years of shooting weddings — first as owner of East Shore Wedding Photography, then as co-owner of Elena Kay Photography. He ran it on his own weddings for years before retiring from active shooting in 2025 to package it as software. What you use on this site is that system, in two forms: a wedding day planning app for photographers and couples, and a public guide library covering every tradition it supports.
What Aisle & Time does
Aisle & Time is wedding day timeline and shot list planning for photographers and couples. Enter a ceremony time. The app builds the rest of the day backward — hair, makeup, first look, formals, cocktail hour, golden hour, reception. The couple fills in the details only they know: who's in which family group, which cultural traditions matter, what shots to skip. The photographer walks in with a ready-to-shoot plan and a mobile crew brief.

How this software got built
The plan was already working. It just wasn't software.
For 15 years, George ran the same core wedding-day system across every wedding his studios shot. It answered the standard questions — when makeup needs to be done, when the first look happens, when to send the first shooter to the ceremony site, when the light will actually be good — and it answered them the same way every time, no matter which venue or family was involved.
That system already worked. It just lived in spreadsheets, timelines, and his head.
Retirement was the moment to codify it.
When George retired from active shooting in 2025, the goal wasn't to leave photography. It was to take the system that had already worked for 15 years and put it somewhere every other photographer could use it. That's Aisle & Time.
The couple knows things the photographer doesn't.
Who's in which family group. Which parents can't stand next to each other. Which shots to skip. We let the couple answer those questions on their own time, so the photographer walks in ready.

Every tradition page on Aisle & Time is written by George. Timing, positioning, and photography notes come from real weddings shot under a system refined over 15 years. Where a tradition falls outside George's direct field experience, the page says so and cites community and academic sources.
