Sources we cite

Every tradition page on this site cites its sources at the bottom of the page. This is the master list — every authoritative reference the whole tradition library draws from, grouped by faith and culture, with direct links. If you're a reviewer, an officiant, or a couple looking to go deeper, this is where we send you.

Primary source

The strongest citation on every experience-based page is George Stoff's field experience across hundreds of weddings while owning East Shore Wedding Photography and co-owning Elena Kay Photography. That's not a URL. It's the working system this software is based on.

Product source

  • Aisle & Time tradition library — the versioned, product-internal database that models every faith and culture supported by this software. Every tradition, ceremony order, ceremony variant, and photography note in the product feeds directly into these pages.

How we handle disagreement between sources

Where sources disagree — especially on timing and required elements — we default to what the wedding-day system actually produced across the weddings it ran, then note the variation. When a couple's actual officiant differs from what a page says, the officiant is right. Our pages describe common practice, not universal practice.

The wedding day you're planning, in one place.

Timeline that works backward from your ceremony time. Shot list you build with your photographer. Everything in sync.
