Aisle & Time is not a wedding blog. It's the codified version of the wedding-day system I built while shooting. I ran it on my own weddings first — as owner of East Shore Wedding Photography, then as co-owner of Elena Kay Photography — for years, tweaking timings and traditions until the workflow held up across every faith, every venue, and every family dynamic I encountered.

The timings on this site are not guesses. They're what the system produced, measured against what actually happened on real wedding days, refined until the numbers stopped moving.

I write every wedding tradition, ceremony order, and shot list guide on Aisle & Time. The timing, positioning, and photography notes come from real weddings — not from a wedding blog roundup.

If a page says a Hora usually takes 30 minutes, it's because the system produced that number across enough weddings to be confident. If it says the ketubah signing needs 45 minutes because families run late and rabbis run long, the system taught me that. Where I haven't personally shot a tradition — and there are a few — the page says so and I write from the tradition data our product actually models, cross-referenced against community sources.
