Common questions
Where do the times come from?
The city is geocoded, then sunrise-sunset.io returns sunset, golden hour, and dusk for that date.
Is golden hour the same as sunset?
No. Golden hour starts before sunset. Sunset is the end of direct sun. Blue hour continues into dusk.
Will the portraits actually have that light?
Weather, trees, and buildings change it. Treat the result as the clock time to aim for, then check the spot.
Which cities can I use?
Any city or ZIP the geocoder can place. A city plus state is more reliable than a city name alone.
